It’s soooo good to see you!
Howdy! My name is Ainsley Alrutz and I am in my final year as a Musical Theatre Major at Viterbo University. Atlanta, Georgia, has always been my home turf, where my journey in theatre began at the age of four, thanks to my mom believing my personality was far too big for our small house. I am so thankful she did. I grew up working and training at a professional theatre where I learned what it takes to be a hard as well as humble worker. From teaching dance to managing light boards and box offices on top of my training, I've embraced diverse roles, fostering a deep appreciation for theatre's collaborative spirit. I believe in bringing joy to the rehearsal room and being present in the collaboration of building a show. Beyond the stage, I wear the badge of proud aunt to the cutest little munchkin you'll ever meet and have spent nearly three years waitressing, all while maintaining a love for fitness. "Consistency over Motivation" is my mantra for 2024, it's my gentle reminder to keep showing up, day in and day out, even when the going gets tough. Because let's face it, the journey is just as important as the destination, right? I appreciate that there is so much I have learned yet so much I have left to learn. Forever a student at heart. Next August, I plan to move to New York and pursue my dreams from there.
